- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆My review on Whangarei Palmers is one of disgust and horror. The Store Manager is a bully and a control freak, she belittles her staff and backstabs them; she is fouled mouth and vicious. No customer wants to be hounded by this sick woman about how useless her staff are and that they never listen. I was quite shocked and horrified by her openness to abuse her staff to customers. I would never reenter this store if you paid me....i give a one star rating for the staff; they endure so much abuse and wonder why they stay..probably because work is really hard to find in Whangarei; it must be so soul destroying to work there!By kayetaylor, August 20, 2019
