About Miracles Childcare & Learning Centre in Northshore

MIRACLES CHILDCARE AND LEARNING CENTRE has just opened in Albany, set off the main road where air pollution is at a minimum ensuring your child can play in a clean green healthy environment. At Miracles Childcare and learning Centre our highly qualified, experienced and passionate staff have a commitment to encouraging the children to become life-long learners. We foster an environment that is inclusive, and develop warm reciprocal relationships that foster respect, social responsibility and resilience. We are a family orientated Centre that builds strong partnerships with our families/whanau. We believe that children will grow and develop in a safe and secure environment, nurtured by the adults around them.

We strongly believe that children learn through play and we at Miracles promote an environment where children can be inquisitive, curious and engaged learners. We foster relationships with the natural environment, and believe in the benefits of long periods of uninterrupted play where children can explore and learn in their own time. Our preschool ~Pukeko Explorer(TM)s Club(TM) spend time in the natural world around them giving them space to explore their natural environment. Research shows that children learn and develop by being immersed within their natural environment. Our children walk to our local reserve once a week in our Pukeko Explorer(TM)s club which provides an experience where our children can explore and discover nature, look for bugs, run in the long grass and play ball games in their natural world.

Our Infant room teachers have recently developed their practice to support new findings in Infant and Toddler care and education. Our Infant team specialise in the care and education of children under two years of age and practice primary care giving for each child.
